Senior Project Manager – Coastal Texas Project
The Gulf Coast Protection District (the District) has an immediate opening for an executive-level position to provide leadership and oversight of the District’s activities related to the advancement of the Coastal Texas Project. This project is a $30 billion plus investment to deliver protection from coastal storm surge for the communities, nationally important industries, and vital ecosystems of the Texas Gulf Coast. The selected applicant will serve as the District’s Senior Project Manager for the Coastal Texas Project. In this capacity, they will be responsible for directing and overseeing a team of District employees and professional services contractors to advance the Coastal Texas Project and to fulfill all contractual requirements of the non-federal sponsor, as detailed in partnership agreements with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The successful applicant should be based in the greater Houston area or be able to efficiently relocate to the greater Houston area. This position offers significant opportunity for growth. The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the Executive Director.
